YOLO can realize fast recognition of objects in images or videos. Under the same recognition category range and recognition accuracy, YOLO has the fastest recognition speed. YOLO has a variety of models, the latest of which is V5. V5 is characterized by faster speed, higher recognition accuracy, and smaller weight files, which can be carried on mobile devices with lower configuration.
This test uses the V5 model to perform batch detection of vehicle types in various scenarios, and analyzes the detection results, focusing on whether the road vehicle category can be correctly identified, in order to explore the feasibility of applying the YOLOv5 model to vehicle detection.
