Ubuntu20.04 Sogou input method installation and uninstallation-beautify the log

1. Browser download installation package

1. Open the system browser (mine is Firefox), search Sogou input method.
2. Enter the input method homepage and select Sogou input method Linux version at the top.

3. Select the corresponding system digits to download

getconf LONG_BIT  //终端输入 查看系统位数

4. After the download is successful, open the terminal in the installation package directory.
If the fcitx framework is not installed , enter

sudo apt-get install fcitx

• See the browser download page for the relevant configuration of the fccitx framework.
  Terminal input:sudo dpkg -i sogoupinyin_对应版本号_amd64.deb

  If it prompts that there is a lack of related dependencies during the installation process, execute the following command to solve it:
  —— sudo apt -f install
  5. After the installation is complete, enter reboot on the terminal to restart the virtual machine. After restarting, you can configure Sogou input method in the upper right corner

2. Uninstalling Sogou Input Method

• sudo dpkg -l so*
• sudo apt-get purge sogoupinyin -Purge is optional, write this attribute to delete the software and its configuration file together, if you don’t need to delete the configuration file, you can execute sudo apt-get remove package name
