Installing the Linux sougou input method is divided into three steps:
1: Add fcitx keyboard input method system, because sogou is based on fcitx, and the system defaults to iBus;
2: Install sogou input method;
3: Set system parameters and some points to note
Step 1: Add the fcitx keyboard input method system
(1) First add the following source
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fcitx-team/nightly
(2) Update the system after adding the source
(3) Start installing fcitx (some systems seem to be installed)
(4) Install the configuration tool of fcitx
(5) Install the table-all package of fcitx
(6) Install the im-switch switching tool
(7) Check if fcitx is successfully installed
Part 2: Install the sogou input method
(1) Select the version corresponding to your operating system
(2) Use the dpkg command to install the Sogou input method
Step 3: Language configuration option
(1) go to system settings -> language support, set the keyboard input method system from the default iBus to fcitx
(2) You cannot see the effect at this time, you must reboot (logout) once
(3) Search for the fcitx configuration and set the sogou input method as the default
