Global Network Topology Surveying and Mapping System-Dynastic

DynaSky is a global network topology surveying and mapping system. The system interface is shown in the figure below. The system uses network topology visualization functions of different levels and granularities to display the topological relationships of the global Internet, including three-dimensional geographic topologies and two-dimensional logical topologies in the world, between countries, within countries, between AS regions, and within AS regions. Among them, with AS as the smallest granularity, you can view the network exits and entrances between countries; with IP as the smallest granularity, you can view the router exits and entrances between countries and countries, countries and AS, and AS and AS.

Its main functions are: global network topology mapping, including global level, national level (inter-country and intra-country) and AS level (inter-AS and intra-AS), POP level, router level (core router, middle router, edge router) ) And IP level. Supports 54,772 AS domains worldwide and nearly 4.3 billion full IPs. The network topology is divided into geographic topology and logical topology. The country-level topology provides the AS number, the amount of IP contained in the AS, the number of countries or regions directly connected to the AS, the number of directly connected ASs, and the degree of nodes. The AS-level topology provides the AS name, AS type, transmission degree, the amount of IP contained in the AS, the number of connected ASs, the number of connected IPs, and the type of AS connection (including peer-to-peer interconnection, service provider and customer connection, and same-organization AS ). Details of ASs connected between countries and routers connected between ASs. The topology of the AS in the designated area provides router connection relationship, router interface IP and router detailed information (such as router location, role in the network, network bandwidth, etc.).

At present, the global network topology visualization system has completed the global-level AS network topology, all AS domain topologies in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and provides corresponding network topology query services and offline databases.

The global level AS network topology includes 224 countries, 54,772 AS, and 230,258 AS side relations. The statistical information is shown in Table 1.1. Among them, enterprise type AS accounted for 53.92%, and peer-to-peer (PP) type AS accounted for 53.66%, as shown in Table 1.2.

The network topology data statistics of Hong Kong, China are shown in Table 1.3, which contains 124,664 routers and 411,029 router connections.

The statistics of Taiwan's network topology are shown in Table 1.4, which contains 57,557 routers and 111,161 router connections.

The global network topology surveying and mapping system can be used to analyze global network connectivity and optimize network construction.

Analysis of Cuban Internet Connection:

The Cuban network connection is shown in Figure 1.2. It can be seen that Cuba has three ASs, namely AS11960, AS27725 and AS10569, and AS11960 is the network outlet of AS10569, and AS11960 is the network outlet of AS27725. Therefore, AS11960 plays a core role in the Cuban network and is also a vulnerable node of the Cuban network. AS11960 network abnormalities will affect the Internet access of all Cuban Internet users.

The network connectivity between China and the Belt and Road countries is shown in Figure 1.3. Among the 62 countries in the Belt and Road Initiative, 46 countries are not directly connected to China. In other words, the network communication between China and these countries requires bypassing. Other countries (such as the United States, Japan) have hidden network security risks.
