After reading more than 100 resumes, I want to give some advice to programmers who are looking for a job

Recently, the company started a new project and began to recruit people one after another. Unfortunately, I was invited by the department chief to be a preliminary interviewer. It was the previous " Interviewer: Don't look at Explain execution plan, dare to write SQL optimization in resume? The Daniel mentioned in "is the one who always pierces my heart.

In fact, working with this kind of awesome people will make you tired if you are not happy, but you can really learn something. Working with them, I always have a feeling: " "I don't know how to do this, I didn't understand it wrong..." ", the pressure was very high and I was afraid of showing my cowardice.

In fact, many of my articles are written after chatting with them, to find out the deficiencies and fix the omissions for myself, maybe this is the self-accumulation and precipitation that everyone always talks about!

Recently, the interview queue is very full, so I don’t have much time to write this week. My daily job is to screen the resumes pushed by HR. If you make an appointment for an initial test, you can refer to the boss above for another face.

Ins and Outs have watched  100more than copies of your resume, and you want to feel a little chat, I think this topic is still very worthwhile to explore with everyone, because it is directly related to our work affects our income, and a  nice of Resume can really make people's eyes shine, and the goodwill doubles.

As a technical scumbag, I don’t have much power to talk like big guys, and I don’t want to teach you how to write a resume with the high attitude of people over. I just want to talk about my 不太合适feelings about some resumes after reading more than 100 resumes .

"I'm ready to be sprayed, hahaha~"

Whitewash stepper

It is said that the resume is a "stepping stone" . This is not a nonsense. In most cases, the interviewer needs to go through HR preliminary screening before getting your resume, rather than the technical staff screening the technical staff's resume, uh~, Do you still expect her to analyze resumes from a technical perspective?

The technical terms written on the resume are roughly in line with the technical requirements we provided. The working years are within the appropriate range. The overall view of the resume is "preferable" and the basis is passed, getand the interview is successful .

"Pleasant to the eye" is really a criterion that is difficult to measure. It depends entirely on people's aesthetics and mood of the day. Sometimes the resume you submit is not necessarily due to poor technology. It may be that people simply look unpleasant... ..bdae362b4ab2800a44c8c50a32ecd930.png

Will fake

I heard people say that my resume is very moist, but I am still dubious. After reading so many resumes, I really feel the water injection phenomenon of resumes. To be honest, most of these resumes are in the packaging of training institutions. There is no meaning of discrimination. I personally do not object to fraudulent resumes.

As long as the working years are appropriately increased under reasonable circumstances, the project experience is actually nothing (there was a misreport of half a year of work experience when I was looking for a job, and I was nervous and almost didn't recruit myself). I can smooth the project business by myself. Learn more The technology mentioned, then this project is yours.

The premise is not too exaggerated, experienced  6years of work experience in the old iron, resume on a recent project he wrote , "student management system" , for student, teacher ...... management, this project experience and significant work experience If it doesn't match, it will inevitably make people wonder about the authenticity of your work experience. Ask a few more basic knowledge points. If you don't answer well, just pass it.

My TM is also a bit awkward, and I directly asked people how many years I have worked. My older brother was even more blunt: After graduating for 6 years, I thought I had earned too little from my hometown, so I signed up for a training class and came to Beijing to find a job. Even though it failed later, I still have to give my brother a frank praise!

Project experience and working years can be falsely reported, but you must be able to hold it, work for four years and write eight years of work experience. What the interviewer asks you will definitely not be a level thing, it will be deeper and more difficult.b7cf7a100bfa76bd90ec5266f9ce932c.png

Project is the focus

I wonder why we should put the project behind?

Many people's resumes will put the personal ability module at the forefront, and then list a lot of technologies that they have used or that they have used in projects but are not familiar with. This seems to appear to have a deep technical stack, but actually digs a hole for myself. "Remember: write less if you can't or don't know the technique!"

In fact, the interviewer is more concerned about which technologies you have used in your project, which functions you have done with these technologies, what problems you encounter when doing these functions, and how to solve them. When asked about this, the interviewer will know whether you have actually done the project or to what extent. So the project should be carefully polished.

The project introduction that I don’t want to read the most is the pure business description, a long paragraph of two or three hundred words, which makes people lose the desire to read it.

There is also a self-evaluation module, which feels rather tasteless. Who would give yourself a bad evaluation? In fact, there is no reference value.

If you just graduated and don't have much project experience, it's okay to write, and it would be a little funny to work for many years. If you change it to your own blog address or GitHub project, it feels much better, at least it seems to love learning.051898c76b3c8835ad52c2bc981719d4.png

Maybe the height of my station is not enough. During the interview, I will not ask about vague things such as study route and career plan.

In my opinion, the ability to work on hand and the ability to solve bugs is the first!
