Dry Goods Recommendation: On the Way of Remote Boot-Operation Tutorial Sharing

Introduction: Sunflower remote control software, Teamview, although easy to use, can not solve a problem: what should I do if the computer is shut down and the power is out? Although these software can be set to start automatically after booting, you must first find a way to boot up. The following is a common method for remote booting.

Boot stick

The boot stick connected to the LAN port of the router will not be used if it is a campus network, because you don’t know where the router or switch is. You can’t connect to such a device if you know where, but you put the router on your own Reconnect it, and then the computer connects it to the router.

The lever is powered independently by a USB cable. The principle of remote lever should be the WOL network to wake up the computer remotely. As long as it is not an antique machine, the general computer motherboard has this function. In fact, this function can only be used to wake up the host on the LAN. In order to wake up from the external network, internal network penetration must be done, but the boot stick itself can connect to the external network, so we don't need to worry about internal network penetration.

Boot socket

The open socket is no different from the ordinary smart socket, it can remotely switch the power. The motherboard of the computer has a function to automatically start after power on, which is why our computer sometimes starts automatically after power on.

This socket must be connected to a wireless network, usually only supports 2.4 GWiFi, so you can remotely switch the socket. Opening the socket can cooperate with the Sunflower software to realize that the computer system is shut down and then the power is turned off later, which is better than using a common smart socket to force the power off. But I'm thinking, after you click close on the remote desktop, turn off the smart socket in two minutes, the effect will be different.

Boot card

The board is inserted into the PCI-E port of the computer motherboard. The PCI-E port only functions as a power source. Since the motherboard has the function of shutting down the system but not PCI-E, it can be guaranteed that the card can work normally when shutting down.

The boot card also needs to be connected to the Internet. There is an interface on the board, and the computer's boot and restart jumpers are connected, which actually simulates you pressing the boot button to switch the machine. The software client can realize functions such as timing switch and voice wakeup by opening the card, depending on which functions the manufacturer supports.
