Talk about some feelings after leaving Beijing

Yesterday, I posted a ten-thousand-word long article. Seriously, I haven't written such a long article for a long time.

This article is not written all at once, but over several days and several stages. Each part of it is like watching a movie playback.

My writing style is unreasonable. It's all what I want to say. I treat you as friends. Every time I write something, I just talk to friends.

Today I’m off to talk about some of my real feelings after leaving Beijing.

I departed from Beijing on October 4, and arrived in Changsha on the 7th. In other words, as of yesterday’s post, I have been in Changsha for 10 days.

I thought there would be a lot of discomfort when I came back, but when I turned on the computer, I knew that everything was business as usual.

For me, it just changed the city and continued to do the same thing.

There were more than 300 readers who left comments on the article yesterday, and received many blessings from friends. Thank you all here.

From your comments, I also found some of your worries and concerns. To be honest, I think it's pretty good, which shows that you also treat me as a friend.

First of all, my purpose of writing an article here is actually to share. I have been doing this for almost 9 years. I think the content shared is something that I think may have some reference or inspiration for everyone, of course, some people will not like it.

This is normal. One way for us to reconcile with ourselves is not to force everyone to agree or like ourselves.

Some readers left a message saying that they are worried that I will not adapt to non-first-tier cities, and I will go back no more than a year, especially sure.

Maybe my way of thinking and doing things is a little different from others. If I am not more than 70% sure, I will not make decisions lightly. But once a decision is made, I will continue on this road.

10 years ago determined to drift north, 7 years ago, decided to leave the business team from the transfer of technology products, three years ago determined to manufacturers, a year ago never mind bare resigned out of business.

These decisions are not made on a whim, but adjusted according to what I want, what I want to do, and where I want to go.

Every step seems to be jumpy in the eyes of others, and even risky. But in my opinion, this kind of leap between different value networks can get more opportunities and possibilities.

If everything waits for me to be completely ready to do it, then there is no chance.

If everything needs to be approved by everyone, then there is a high probability that there is no possibility of success.

Questions, worries, and unremitting things are opportunities.

This is my true feeling.

After leaving Beijing and arriving in Changsha, apart from the differences in climate and diet, other obvious changes did not feel much.

Oh, by the way, the biggest change should be the bigger the house and the improvement of the quality of life.

In the past, I rented a one-bedroom and one-living house in Beijing, on the edge of the South Third Ring Road, close to the subway Jiaomen West, and the monthly rent was 5400. The area is less than 50 square meters, and the community is an old house from the 90s.

The house rented in Changsha now has four bedrooms and two halls. In the core area of Hexi life, the monthly rent is 3,500, with 3,800 parking spaces. With an area of more than 130 square meters, the community is a new community in 2017.

Before, I could only set up a table as a desk in the living room of a room. Now, I have my own independent study room and plan to build a live broadcast room in the future.

The house I bought before will be handed over at the end of the year and will be able to live in next year after being renovated. Judging from the living experience, it is indeed much better than Beijing.

This is my true feeling.

There are also readers who worry that if I leave the first-tier cities, how can I keep my information and people in contact with them at all times?

Regarding this question, as I said, I just changed the city, and everything else remains the same.

Why do you say that?

Because when I was in Beijing, I worked from home most of the time, communicating with the team through online meetings, and communicating with friends or colleagues working on projects through WeChat or phone.

More than 90% of information exchange and communication can be done online, and with video, there is no difference from meeting.

The only thing that needs to go to the site may be some offline activities or closed-door meetings, but such frequency is relatively low, and it is distributed in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou. I also flew closer from Changsha.

What's more, I have established an information network in the early stage. There are friends from major Internet companies in this network. I can get the most first-hand information in this industry from them.

In addition, I am also helping some friends to do projects and keep myself in a state of practice. Not only can I keep myself working on products, but also provide a lot of materials for my creation.

Still the same sentence, just changed the city, everything else is business as usual, it can be understood as a long-term difference.

This is my true feeling.

There are also many Internet friends in Changsha who are making appointments one after another. I also want to investigate the Internet environment and development and opportunities in Changsha in depth. If there are preliminary results, I will share them here later.

I have a clear understanding of my situation, I know what I lose and what I gain, and what I do is in line with the consideration of maximizing my own interests.

The pursuit can be great, but the choices are limited. People live a lifetime, and there is no need to live according to others' expectations. A good life is more important than anything else.

The worldly vision will be defined by escape, avoidance, and failure, but for oneself, it is choice, choice, and choice.

First-tier cities, including Beijing, are good places. If a young man asks me if I want to go, I will definitely answer. If you have a choice, go.

If you go, you won't regret it, if you don't, you will definitely regret it.

Don't care about success or failure, only experience will gain. Of course, we must work hard, think, act, and continue to act.

There are not a few 10 years in my life, so how I live is my own choice.

In addition, I want to say, don’t learn from me. I’m the only one to go. I don’t adapt to everyone. Many things cannot be copied. Everyone is unique.

This is my true feeling.

In the past 10 days, I feel very good, and I have taken care of things here and returned to my previous work.

Next, my team and I still have a lot of things to do, and we still have a lot of ideas that have not been realized. Next year will be another wonderful year. Let us encourage!
