1. Download the
        official download link of the micro-PE installation package : http://www.wepe.com.cn/download.html Now the official requires a donation to download, and qualified students can appropriately support the author.

2.         After the software for making PE boot disk has been

downloaded, you can start to make WinPE. It should be noted that installing PE to a USB flash drive will format the USB flash drive . If there are important data in the USB flash drive , please backup it first. First insert the U disk into the computer, after the computer recognizes the U disk, double-click the WePE_64_V2.1.exe program. In the pop-up window, click the USB-style icon in the lower right corner to install PE to the U disk.

        In the pop-up "Install PE to U Disk" dialog box, set the installation method, format parameters and check the option to include DOS toolbox according to the following figure. The U disk to be written is the U disk you inserted. After all settings are completed , Click "Install into U Disk Now", and click "Start Making" in the pop-up dialog box. The production process takes about 3-5 minutes.

        After the boot disk is created, the U disk is divided into three partitions. The "EFI" partition is the partition where the PE is located, and the "PE" is a blank partition, which can be used as a normal U disk, and there is an unallocated hidden partition .

3. Software preparation
Operating system: Download the operating system Windows 10 or Windows 7 from the official Microsoft website.
Application software: driver wizard (installation, update driver), WeChat, QQ, WinRAR and other software.
Copy the operating system and application software to the PE partition of the U disk.
4. Use the PE boot disk to boot the computer
1) Enter the BIOS and set the U disk boot as the computer's boot sequence preference. Different brands and models of computers have slightly different setting methods. You can search for the setting methods according to your computer's brand and model.

2) If you use a virtual machine to practice installing the operating system , you need to set the advanced settings in the options of the virtual machine.

3) If you use a virtual machine to practice installing the operating system , you need to set up a U disk to connect to the virtual machine while the virtual machine is on.

4) After setting the boot sequence, shut down the computer, insert the U disk, and start the computer.
If you use a virtual machine to practice installing the operating system , press the ESC key intermittently (about 3 seconds) when you press the button to start the virtual machine. When the following screen appears, select EFI USB Device.

Wait for 30-60 seconds, you will see the Windows Boot Manager screen, select 1024x768. If you use a physical machine to install the operating system, if it is set correctly, you will directly enter the Windows Boot Manager interface without pressing any buttons, and select 1024x768.

5) Wait 1-2 minutes, you will enter the PE interface.

5. Install the operating system
1) Click "Windows Windows-All Programs-Installation and Maintenance-ImDisk Virtual Drive" to open the virtual drive program.

2) Click "Install" and click "..." in the "Load Virtual Disk" window to select the operating system image file. Drive letter F is the drive letter of the virtual CD-ROM drive. Different computer virtual CD-ROM drives have different drive letters. After making changes and all settings are complete, click "OK".

3) Format the drive for installing the system, usually drive C, you can judge whether it is the attribute of the system disk by checking whether there is a windows directory and user directory in the drive.

4) Double-click the "Windows Installer" on the desktop, and set according to the following figure. Among them, F disk is the letter of my virtual CD-ROM drive, and C disk is the drive where the operating system is installed and the boot drive. Note that when the BOOT PART (EFI PART) is red , close the window, restart the "Windows Installer", keep the default value of the boot drive location unchanged , and set other options according to the following figure. Confirm that MBR (GPT), BOOTMGR PBR, BOOT PART (EFI PART) are all green , click "Install" to start copying the installation files, wait about 10-15 minutes, a window will pop up after the file is copied, click "Restart" , Pull out the U disk, and then operate according to the Windows installation prompts.

6. Install the driver and application program.
        You can use the software that automatically installs the driver program, such as the driver wizard, to install and upgrade the driver conveniently. The prerequisite is that the computer can access the Internet. After the driver is installed, you can install commonly used application software, activate the Windows operating system, and finally back up the operating system.
