Install Linux operating system on VMWare

Installation of Linux operating system:

选择的映像文件是:CentOS-6.5-i386-bin-DVD1.iso

Right click and select New Virtual Machine

You can choose to install the operating system later (uniform configuration later)

Select the operating system and version to be installed (CenOS is 32-bit by default)

Select the name of the virtual machine and the location to install it

Select the disk capacity of the virtual machine (the default is OK, but it depends on the memory of the host)

Select custom hardware (which needs to configure the network connection mode and image file)

The network adapter selects NAT mode: This mode is equivalent to treating the host as a router, as long as the host can access the Internet, the virtual machine can also access the Internet

Select the ISO image file (go to the Internet to download - different image files may be different during installation, but they are basically the same)

After the configuration is complete, click Finish, and then start the virtual machine

Just select the first install and enter

Just choose the basic

Choose to ignore all data

Give the host a name (and also configure networking on the VM)

Double-click the check box to automatically connect to the network

Select the system time of the virtual machine

Set the password for the username (username: root)

Option to replace an existing Linux system

Just select Basic Service (no graphical interface)
