Breaking thinking: What really abolishes a person is never a stable job

When I update the articles on the official account, I often use the stories of some of my friends as the subject matter, how they quit their jobs and start businesses, how they still quit their enviable jobs and live another life.

I often mention the confusion of some readers. Many readers have asked me: The current working environment is too comfortable, like a stagnant pool, do you want to change your job and go out for a look?

The reason for sharing this is because I want to tell everyone that there are always some people in the world who are trying to change themselves, constantly tossing and forging ahead. The courage and enterprising spirit in them is worth learning.

Such people are often easier to achieve success, and are more likely to see a different world and have a different life.

However, this does not mean that a stable job is so bad, and a stable job must not be done.

I have found that many readers mistakenly believe that stable work is a stumbling block that hinders their progress and is the source of their decadence.

      This perception is very narrow.

In fact, what really abolishes a person and affects a person’s growth and progress is never a stable job, but a solidified thinking and a heart that is at ease with the status quo.

                                 1. Stable work is not a scourge

In the concept of the parents, stability is an important criterion for judging the quality of a job. The vast majority of parents hope that their children can have a stable job and ensure income from droughts and floods.

I don’t know when, young people began to despise and dislike stable jobs. Why did this change happen?

I think there are two main reasons.

The first reason is that a stable job often surprises the fixed income, and this fixed income is usually not very high and often fails to keep up with rising prices. Over time, this fixed income may not be able to meet the needs of life.

The second reason is that a stable job often means that you can see the end of life at a glance. This does not fit the pursuit of young people, who are eager to realize their self-worth.

In other words, a stable job is not good enough for income, and it does not help realize the pursuit of life. In this way, it is not difficult to understand that stable work is despised by some aspiring young people.

However, with a fixed income and a stable job, will it really become a "degenerate" who has no pursuit in life?

Not really. Let me give some examples of friends around me.

The first friend was a teacher at the university. He used his professional time to teach art, and his side job earned more than his main job.

The second friend is a music teacher. He has brought many students in his spare time.

The third friend works in a bank. He usually uses his spare time to test his career establishment.

The fourth friend is the host of a TV station. In his spare time, he spends a lot of time studying how to edit videos.

The fifth friend works at the company during the day and runs Didi at night.

I believe that everyone is surrounded by such people. They have a stable job, but they work harder than most.

In fact, everyone is ultimately seeking stability. Those who work hard and continue to toss are actually seeking stability, but the stability they pursue is higher, more secure, and less restrictive, which allows them to have a lot of autonomy.

Therefore, a stable job is never a scourge, he will not really abolish a person and hinder a hot growth.

On the contrary, a stable job means that your life has basic security, which can bring you a sense of security, and also give you more confidence and capital to be a slash youth and do what you want to do.

                             2. Hardened thinking is the culprit that hinders one's growth and progress

In fact, what really hinders a person's growth and progress is the wrong mentality, solid thinking and low level of cognition.

If a person is content with the status quo and does not want to make progress, no matter where he works, whether it is a foreign company, a private company, or a self-employment, he will not achieve much in the end, and it is difficult to make a breakthrough in his career.

On the contrary, as long as you have a heart to go in and a desire to climb upward, no matter how stable your work is, it will not hinder your growth and progress.

Stable work is not scary, but solid thinking is scary.

So, what are the concrete manifestations of solidified thinking?

The first performance: refusing to learn and change.

In fact, if you want to gain true stability, you must have the ability to keep pace with the times.

One of the criteria for judging whether a person is not enterprising and whether his thinking is solidified is to see if he can continue to learn and grow, and whether he is actively seeking change.

Why do some companies that were once the best in the industry but closed down overnight? Why do some people start from a very high point, but it is always difficult to make breakthroughs and become more mediocre?

The most fundamental reason is probably that they refuse to learn and grow, and refuse to change.

For example, you run a physical store, and e-commerce continues to impact the traditional retail industry. If you can't keep up with the times, make quick adjustments, and stick to the traditional business model, you will sooner or later be eliminated by the market.

As small as a person, a team, and as large as an industry, in this era of rapid change and development, if you refuse to learn and grow, and refuse to change, it will be difficult to go far.

The second manifestation: lack of awareness of distress.

The characteristic of stability is that there are few variables. Since there are few variables, it is easy for people to take it lightly, lack the sense of worry, and fail to be prepared for danger in peacetime.

This is also the fundamental reason why stable jobs are considered by many to be a stumbling block to their learning and growth.

Once people lack the sense of worry, they often don't take the initiative to learn, which is usually the motivation to struggle.

Some time ago, the toll station in a certain place was cancelled, and the employees of the toll station faced another job choosing. Several female employees said that when they are middle-aged, learning is slow and they can't learn anything new. They don't know what to do.

Just imagine, if they can prepare early, charge for learning, and let themselves have a skill in addition to charging, even if they are faced with such a situation, they will not panic.

The same is true for many professionals. The company is not large and the job is not stable, but they are very "easy." Anyway, the job is not difficult to find. If this company is not good enough, you will change to another company.

It is scary to have such thoughts and ideas. Maybe they can indeed find new jobs, but these jobs will not bring them a good life, nor can they change their lives.

Every day is changing rapidly, and few people can accurately predict what it will be like in three or five years.

But we can be sure that if you always keep a clear mind, persevere in learning and growth, and actively embrace change, then you will be able to have a stable and ill-fated future.

If you want to struggle, no matter how comfortable the job is, you can’t stop you.

Everything depends on your choice, don't let your solid thinking bury your future.
