At that time, there were probably two professional directions: one was in the network direction. After graduation, you could do network engineering, and the other was in software development. This one was more interesting.
When I graduated, I interviewed for a job in Java, some of which appeared to be Java development. In fact, I took this opportunity to meet "customers". I still remember that the person who interviewed me in that company was like a teacher training his students, saying that I did not have that, and finally introduced me to their courses. At that time, I was really a little bit self-confident. When the second company was interviewing, it was late, so after finishing the interview questions, he left. In the end, there was no interview with java, but was favored by that company's operation and maintenance department. My first job was settled by mistake. While doing operation and maintenance, while consolidating my development knowledge, I didn't take long before I switched to development.
These interview experiences tell me that if knowledge is only superficial, it cannot form productivity. Only with systematic knowledge and sufficient in-depth knowledge can productivity be fully reflected. And this will become one of my abilities.
When I was still in school, I couldn't understand the requirements of the C \ C ++ and Java programming languages I learned in the workplace. What frame acridine and so on were only known later. My classmate told me that his brother had analyzed the technology with him before it was good for employment. It is a pity that I was not as obedient as I am now. My classmates are also not sure. However, he trusted his brethren. After only two years in college, he specialized in one technology, and finally found a job. Actually, I do n’t approve of studying only one course. In that case, do n’t go to the university, just go directly to the training institution, and have someone to coach.
College students are like letters in an ivory tower. They don't know what the outside world is like. I think there is a big difference between the workplace I understand in college and the workplace I understand after work. In the final analysis, it is because of the limited information available.
Graduates only rely on good study in the classroom and a good grade in the final exam, and may not be competent for development work. Computer science graduates will do everything, and they will not. Because learning is too shallow to form productivity. This is the fundamental reason why it is difficult for our computer majors to find satisfactory jobs.
I still remember that I had done career planning on the eve of graduation. I think it would be particularly useless to do this planning for a person who does not have too much workplace information or social information. The school did not specifically guide and help. Instead, it is more confusing. So, before you go out of the school, what preparations should be made to meet the future?
First of all, be clear about your employment direction. In other words, what kind of job are you looking for? You can go to the job search sites such as BOSS direct employment, Wucheng Wuyou and so on. Find out what type of job you want to find.
Secondly, understand the abilities required for work, check for missing vacancies as soon as possible, and gradually go deeper into every aspect. However, because of your limited time (you will be graduating, you must find a job), if you want to master and deepen, it is not practical, and the result will only make you feel more frustrated and not helpful for employment . Those can be left for later.
