1. download synopsys_installer, scl, scl_keygen, vcs-2016, verdi-2016, syn-2016

2. install synopsys_installer

   chmod a+x SynopsysInstaller_v3.3.run
   ./SynopsysInstaller_v3.3.run -d {your_install_path}/synopsysinstaller
   cd synopsysinstaller
   ./setup.sh
   

3. select directory that contain *.spf, install to your own path, such as /opt/synopsys/vcs-mx_vL-2016.06

4. unachive the scl.rar to /opt/synopsys/scl_v11.10

5. switch to Window PC, then use scl_gen to generate Synopsys.dat with your Linux hostname and MAC

6. copy Synopsys.dat to your Linux server/opt/synopsys/license

7. edit .bashrc file with your environment such as your file location, hostname, then source .bashec

8. in bashrc, synopsys command is to launch the license

9. dve verdi dc_shell , enjoy your ASIC journey!
