此工具能做啥?

Kafka的partition表示并发度的单元：一个topic的消息可以分布到多个partition上，并存储在多个server上。一旦创建了一个topic，就要指定这个topic的partition数。在topic的数据量增加时需要增加更多的partition，此工具帮助我们为某个指定的topic增加更多的partition，并可以手动的为增加的partition分配replica。此工具现在只在0.8分支提供。

如何使用？

bin/kafka-add-partitions.sh

--partition <Integer: # of partitions>  REQUIRED: Number of partitions to add
                                          to the topic
--replica-assignment-list               For manually assigning replicas to
  <broker_id_for_part1_replica1 :         brokers for the new partitions
  broker_id_for_part1_replica2,           (default: )
  broker_id_for_part2_replica1 :
  broker_id_for_part2_replica2, ...>
--topic <topic>                         REQUIRED: The topic for which
                                          partitions need to be added.
--zookeeper <urls>                      REQUIRED: The connection string for
                                          the zookeeper connection in the form
                                          host:port. Multiple URLS can be
                                          given to allow fail-over.
