调整区块奖励成熟期及参与POS挖矿成功的UTXO锁定时间
UnitedBitcoin（UBTC比特联储）很高兴地宣布：将于区块高度572,000（约2018年10月15日）进行一次升级，以调整区块奖励的成熟期，以及参与POS挖矿成功的UTXO锁定时间。此次升级将在UBTC主网上通过硬分叉的方式实现，硬分叉是通过对底层协议进行更改来升级网络的一种常规方式。
此次升级的内容包括：
（1）调整区块奖励的成熟期：奖励的成熟期将从7,200个区块调整为1,440个区块。因此，在分叉高度572,000之后产生的区块奖励成熟期为1,440个区块（在高度572,000之前产生的区块奖励成熟期依然为7,200个区块）。
（2）调整参与POS挖矿成功的UTXO锁定时间：参与POS挖矿成功的UTXO锁定时间将从7,200个区块调整为1,440个区块。因此，在分叉高度572,000之后参与POS挖矿成功的UTXO锁定时间为1,440个区块（在高度572,000之前参与POS挖矿成功的UTXO锁定时间依然为7,200个区块）。
（3）UBTC新版钱包v2.3.0.1将合入比特币0.16.3版本Bitcoin Core拒绝服务攻击的修复方案。
需要注意不变的是：
允许使用于POS挖矿的UTXO的确认数需求仍将继续维持为4,800个区块。

UBTC Upgrade Announcement:
To Adjust Block Reward Lockup Periods & Lockup Period of Successful UTXO in POS Mining
UnitedBitcoin (UBTC) is pleased to announce that it is upgrading its protocol on its mainnet at block height 572,000 (about 15th October 2018), to adjust the block reward lockup period and lockup period of UTXO that is successful in POS mining. This protocol upgrade will be implemented via a planned hard fork on the UBTC mainnet. Hard forks are routine and are used to upgrade the network by making changes to the underlying protocol.
This upgrade includes the following:
(1) The lockup period of a block reward will be adjusted to 1,440 blocks from 7,200 blocks. Therefore, after the fork block height 572,000, the lockup period of block reward will be 1,440 blocks.
(2) The lockup period of UTXO that is successful in POS mining will be adjusted to 1,440 blocks from 7,200 blocks. Therefore,after the fork block height 572,000, the lockup period of UTXO that is successful in POS mining will be 1,440 blocks.
(3) The latest version v2.3.0.1 of UBTC QT/Core wallet will incorporate a fix for denial of service attack of Bitcoin Core v0.16.3.
Please note that the number of UTXO confirmations needed for POS mining (4,800) remains unchanged.

Just before and during the hard fork itself, please disable deposits and withdrawals of UBTC, as a cautionary measure. The relevant services can be resumed after the hard fork.
