在Windows版本中，本来安装的Domino Server的时候已经是选择免费版本，那应该是单用户的吧，为什么安装Domino Designer的时候就不可以了呢，还报这个错误：
“Domino Designer 您正在试图升级多用户安装。请获取正确的安装包以完成升级”
打开注册表：Regedit
想想windows里的注册表是不是默认给设置成多用户的呢？第一次找到
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lotus\Notes
看到名称为MultiUser的项，兴奋之余把它的值改成0了，再试还是不行，然后重启还是不行，再回去确认一下有没有改。
原来下面还有一个版本号8.0下面也有一个项叫MultiUser的项，再次改了，无需重启直接安装Domino Designer成功，顺便把Domino Administrator也给安装了。

出现的场景：
先装好了Notes，后准备装Designer。

解决方法: 这个错误信息出现在Notes客户端时可能某些程度上造成了误解。
通常，问题发生在操作系统和网络驱动程序缺少资源而不是在客户端连接到或者尝试连接的Lotus Domino 服务器。 (注意: 这个错误可能会在Domino服务器控制台上面出现；在这种情况下，问题可能在 Domino服务器端。Domino服务器管理员可以参考管理员帮助来排错。)

问题: Inbox视图忽然没有了
解决方法: 请刷新或替换邮件模板，在工作台上选中这个邮箱右击->应用程序-> 刷新设计或替换设计。
替换设计之后，从工作台上选中这个邮件图标，按Del键，当前的图标将从工作台上删除 。然后重新加载邮箱，可以从Open下拉菜单中打开邮件，一个新的图标将会在工作台上生成。
刷新设计，您可以选择本地或服务器上的邮件模板，系统用本地或服务器上的模板刷新设计
刷新设计后， Inbox会显示出来，但是原来Inbox里的邮件是不能恢复到Inbox里的，您可以从All Documents里找到原来的邮件。因为Inbox是一个文件夹，记录它里面包含的邮件，当这个文件夹被删除后，相应的邮件指针也丢失了。

问题: 当使用Notes8.5.3时，在本地通讯录创建一个群组，在发送邮件的时候，当抄送栏里面的某个单独用户名在该群组里，则邮件发送给群组，抄送该用户后，收件人收到的邮件中，抄送栏里自动去掉了群组中包含的该用户。
如果发送邮件的时候邮递选项里选择不展开个人群组，就不会自动去掉，
这个现象跟以前的版本如Notes8.5.2是不一样的，Notes8.5.2中发送的该邮件会在抄送中显示该用户。
比如：test群组里包含ITadmin，邮件发送，发给test群组，抄送ITadmin，
所有接收人看到邮件显示抄送没有了ITadmin这个名字，发件人的发件箱里保存的邮件也是一样现象。
解决方法: 这个现象是Notes853客户端的一个新功能改进，设计就是如此。
该功能的目的是为了将收件人为群组里的用户如果出现在抄送中，会将抄送中的用户名去掉，为的是避免出现重复收到邮件的可能。
如果想恢复到以前一样，可以在Notes客户端的notes.ini文件中加入一行参数：
MAIL_CHECK_META_DUPS=0（如果加在最后一行，记得下面空出一行空行 ），

Moreover, this setting also trigger the “Unable to send mail…..” message when I click on some buttons in our apps where notesdocument.send method is used.
