知识点

　　1. 重阳节有两种译法，第二种拼音法更易于西方读者的理解

　　2. 讲重阳节的时候，既可以用 date back to，又可以用 date from。

　　3. 对于这个句子：

　　　　The festival dates back to the Warring States Period，and by the Tang Dynasty it became an offical festival， passed on to the present time.

　　pased on the time 作后置定语，修饰前面的 an offical festival。

　　4. 登高意指重阳节登高望远的习俗，故译为 ascending mountain 。

　　5. “茱萸”没有完全对应的英语单词，所以用到了泛词 plant，这是汉译英的一个技巧。
