形容词：
修饰名词或代名词性质，状态，成为形容词。可分为限定用法和叙述用法。
1 限定用法
1.1 形容词+ 名词
The old man lived in a small village
1.2 名词+ 形容词
I want to drink somthing cold
I tried to climb a fence two meters high
He is a boy five years old.
2 叙述用法
2.1 主语补语
Sea water tastes salty.
2.2 受词补语
I left the windows open.
You will find the book beautiful.
3 重点1
3.1 只能用限定用法的形容词
only (唯一的 ) ，mere (只… ) ，main(主要的)，wooden(木製的 ，upper (上面的)，inner (內部的)，Iive/ iving (活的)，daily (每日的)，lone (孤單的）
3.2 只能用叙述用法的形容词
alive (活的 ;活潑的) ，alone (寂寞的) ， afraid (恐怕)，asleep (睡著的)， awake (醒著的) ，well (健康的) lontent (滿足的) ，glad (快樂的) aware (知道。
I‘m afraid of dogs 。
4 形容词的顺序
冠词+ 数量+ 性状+ 形容词化的名词
大小 、形状、状态、新旧、颜色、材料
He made these two little new wooden tables.
5 特别注意的形容词
5.1 不能以人为主词的形容词
dangerous (危险的) 。difficult (困難的) ，
hard (困难的 ) 。east (容易的 )
useful (有用的) 。useless (無用的) ，
tough (圈 雞 的 ) ’ convinent (方 便 的 ) ，
important (重 要 的 ) ，necessary (必 要 的 ) ，
regrettable (真慰的) ，natural (自然的 ，
possible (可能的)等

It is necessary for you to see a doctor.
5.2 以人为主词的形容词
angry, ashamed, delighted disappointed, excited ,glad ,happy, proud,sorry ,thankful.
I am angry about the baseball game .
5.3 the + 形容词
The rich are not always happy.
5.4 形容词副词用法
It is burning hot.
It is frezzing cold.
They were dead asleep.
6 数量形容词
6.1 many/mucn
复数名词使用many,物质名词或抽象名词使用much.
注意：
1 否定句中的many 或much 可译为 不太多
This garden doesn’t have many trees.
My son hasn’t made much money.
2 many,much 也很有名词用法。
many of the student were absent.
3 口语中，也可用。
a lot of, lots of ,plenty of , 代替many 或much。
6.2 a few 和 few
a few 指 些许，一些。代表可定之意
few 指： 很少，几乎没有。代替否定之意
两者之后都接复数名词，
There are a few vegetables in the refrigerator.
Few people were injured in the accident.
6.3 a little 和 little
a little 指 些许，一些。代表可定之意
little 指： 很少，几乎没有。代替否定之意
两者之后可接物质名词和抽象名词。
I have a little money with me .
6.4 some 和 any
some 用法
用于肯定陈述句
some students take lessions in spanish.
用于邀请疑问句
Won’t you have some more tea.
any 用法
用于疑问句或否定句
Do you have any questions.
用于表示 【任何， 皆可】之意的肯定句。
You may come any time.
用于条件句
Ask him if you have any doubt.

no 为 not any, not a 之意，可接可数和不可数名词。
There is no water in the glass.
I have no brother .

口语中 quite a few,quite a litle也指 「不少」之意。
