1 What does the Results section include?
State only results that are most relevant to research questions, and simply present what you found.
- Only the findings of your study
- Data presented in tables, charts, graphs, and other figures
- A contextual analysis of this data
- Explanation of data derived from previous studies (also found in the Discussion section)
2 Structure of Results Section
Passage with the four parts identified: Question (Purpose), Experiment, Result, Answer.
- Question (Purpose)：通过用简短的句子或短语说明，执行特定实验的目的是要解决什么问题；
- Experiment：不应重复实验细节，建议将方法与结果联系起来，可使用这两种句型结构模式来阐述：一是使该方法成为句子的主语，二是使用转换短语或句子以及主句中的结果来说明方法。
- Result：结果是关于重要数据的文本描述，并赋予数据意义，同时，得确保是合乎逻辑的。
- Answer：在最后一个句子中，将该段落的实验结果与问题联系起来，来个小小前后呼应，或引出下一个结果，充当过渡。但这不包括对实验结果的含义的完整讨论。
