configure solaris network,

1: IP configuration

edit the following three files

/etc/hosts

/etc/hostname.e1000g0

/etc/netmasks

 

2:DNS configuration

You need to edit below two files

/etc/resolv.conf

     domain **.com
     nameserver **.**.**.**

     nameserver **.**.**.**

     search **.com

 

/etc/nsswitch.conf

add  "dns"  to hosts line.

     hosts: files dns
