xShell installation

Xshell installation tutorial (most detailed)

Environment: Win7 system, virtual machine, ubuntu system, Xshell software

first step:

The network connection mode switch from the virtual machine bridge

 

 

 

Step two:

  Close win7 and Ubuntu firewall (two firewalls should be closed, then open win7 firewall and other Xshell after a successful connection, Ubuntu firewall shut it off to put no need to open, nor do I turn off the firewall is only 22 ports)
 
 
    win7 firewall simple not to say
          Ubuntu firewall close command:
          1. (installation ufw, if already installed can skip this step) the install the sudo ufw APT-GET
          2. (IP allow all external access to the machine 22 / tcp (ssh) port) sudo ufw allow 22 / tcp
 
 

third step:

  Ssh service started in ubuntu inside (if you have installed ssh service to skip this step) sudo APT-GET-install OpenSSH Server
  /etc/init.d/ssh Start (execute this command line to start ssh service)
  PS -e | grep ssh (If only execute this command line ssh-agent represents not start, there is sshd is already started)
 

the fourth step:

  View win7 and Ubuntu IP
  in IP under win7 ping the Ubuntu (see if you can not ping) 
  ping the IP win7 under Ubuntu (see if you can ping pass)

Part V

Open Xshell software, click New

 

 

 


Step Six

  The following interface will pop up after clicking OK

 

 


  
  Login user name is the user name of your Ubuntu system (this system to keep the user name has been)
  After clicking OK will be displayed (the system password that you used inside) password
 

Step Seven

  Landed successfully
