ArcGIS Server server-side extensions, when SOE code debugging, often need to recompile, replace the extended map service,
Due to an unknown problem, local development environment includes SOE map service, each restart need to spend a considerable amount of time, generally more than 20 minutes, each time the system has just restarted, would be better, in general fifty-six minutes look.
Write code, it is inevitable that various details of the problem, the server-side extensions, had very simple functions, will have to spend waiting for commissioning in a long time every time.
Although the map service restarts special cards, and sometimes wait 20 minutes, due to unknown reasons, the latest expansion soe soe not overwrite the original expansion, led to hard after waiting for a long time, debugging is not the latest code.
Multi resolved, solutions to problems found.
Later accidentally, we found a relatively faster method. Proceed as follows.
(1) stop the deployment of the soe map service
(2) functional map service page, uncheck the SOE function
(3) In the Extension Manager page, delete the extension
(4) in the windows task manager, restart the ArcGIS Server services
(5) Service rebooted, add new files compiled soe
(6) in the corresponding map service, check the soe extension, and save the map service
(7) to start mapping service.
The above steps can solve the problem map service special card, but the problem sometimes for soe extension can not be covered, and occasionally.
After testing found that, when there can not be covered, in soe extension of the original file path added, the soe file can not be deleted, or deleted after the refresh, the soe file again generated. Encounter this problem, could not find other solutions, only reboot the system
To get around these problems, increase the return to a version of the method identified in soe in preventing running soe program is not up to date.
