( "Ying Da" or the "Group"; stock code: HK .6888) The Board is pleased to announce that Professor Tang was appointed a non-executive director of the company with effect from 2 July 2019.
Professor Tang, PhD, FASME, FHKEng, JP, 66 years old, taught at many universities in the United States and Hong Kong for over 30 years. Professor Tang served as the Hong Kong Polytechnic University during 2009-2018, before the United States George Washington University Engineering and Applied Science Dean. As the heat transfer expert, Professor Tang has published more than 80 professional papers copies. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences and the International Conference on thermal conductivity.
Professor Tang since 2012 as the CPPCC National Committee. Professor Tang is also keen to participate in our public affairs, he currently Chairman of the Hong Kong ICAC Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations, hundred members, members of the International Institute of Management Consultancy Committee and Chairman of the Board Committee of the Hong Kong crown forum. Professor Tang holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University with a master's degree and doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
