[TechWeb] July 2, according to foreign media reports, Huawei, Samsung and other mobile phone manufacturers have launched 5G smartphones, as more commercial networks and 5G 5G introduction of mobile phones, consumer demand for mobile phones will be 5G upgrade.
Research institutions are expected, in five years from the beginning of the year, the global 5G smart phone shipments will more than 1.9 billion, accounting for annual compound growth rate of nearly 180%.
Specifically, research institutes expects global smart phone shipments 5G 13 million, will increase sharply next year, will reach 164 million; in 2021 will reach 393 million in 2020, based on growth of nearly 140% ; 2022 will substantially increase, reaching 582 million; in 2023, 5G global mobile phone shipments will reach 774 million.
This according to research firm expects the next five years, a total of 5G mobile phone shipments will reach 1.926 billion, the annual compound growth rate of 179.9 percent.
It is foreseeable that, with the maturity of 5G technology, the next few years the world will usher in a wave of replacement tide, now use the 4G mobile phone consumers will replace 5G phone, and research institutions for the next few years the global mobile phone 5G shipments are expected, which means, in their view, 5G phone replacement wave will start from next year.
