What we bring to you today is a data set of urban grid meteorology and wind and solar power generation in Taiwan, China. It has high data coverage (22 counties and cities in Taiwan), high data completeness (the last 2 and a half years), and high data richness ( 25+ meteorological elements and 67+ wind and solar power plants). Based on this data set, not only time series data analysis and prediction research can be conducted on a single object, but also joint analysis and prediction on multiple objects can be carried out. Hierarchical relationship analysis and hierarchical prediction of new energy sites -> counties and cities -> regions can also be carried out. Explore what can be called the strongest urban grid weather and new energy data set .

The Taiwan urban grid meteorological and wind photovoltaic power generation data set consists of 2 parts: The first part is the Taiwan urban grid meteorological data, which contains the temperature, air pressure, relative humidity, wind speed, precipitation, etc. of 22 major counties and cities in Taiwan. 25+ meteorological elements such as sunshine duration and total cloud cover are provided by Taiwan’s Central Meteorological Administration; Part 2 is the new energy power generation data of 18+ wind power stations and 49+ photovoltaic power stations within Taiwan’s city grid, provided by Taiwan Electric Power Company , the time granularity of all data is 1 day.

Electricity is the cornerstone of modern life and the driving force for economic development. Whether it is general traditional industries or emerging high-tech industries, electricity is the driving force. For decades, Taiwan Electric Power Company (hereinafter referred to as Taipower) has provided sufficient power for people's livelihood and economic development, and its transmission and distribution lines have penetrated into every corner of Taiwan. Taipower Corporation is a state-owned public utility with the mission of stabilizing power supply, being friendly to the environment, and maintaining reasonable cost electricity prices to provide the basic conditions needed for the development of businesses and people's livelihoods. After the passage of the Electricity Industry Law, the direct supply of green energy was opened up, and under the government policy goal of promoting energy transformation to gradually reduce nuclear power and move towards a non-nuclear homeland in 114 years, the company strives to stabilize power supply.

The urban wind and solar power generation data in Taiwan, China, in Part 2 of the data set is a summary of wind and photovoltaic power generation data from Taipower.
