RPA has launched 256 applications at CCB Shanghai Branch, covering 26 business areas such as channels and operations, credit cards, personal finance, and consumer rights protection. The digital workforce has entered nearly 340 outlets across the city to provide automated support for employees. Effectively empower and reduce burdens on the front line.

Scenario 1: Payment advice processing

Car purchase installments occur every day, and nearly 400 payment notices need to be manually printed and sent to dealers every day. With hundreds of copies printed every day, the printer is overloaded. On the one hand, business development is booming, but on the other hand, there is the business pain point of centralized processing of payment notices.

The "Car Purchase Installment Notice Production and Sending" RPA application uses a robot to automatically complete the sending of payment notices according to the set time and the maintained dealer email list. With the robot's "no rest, no mistakes, no landing" process characteristics, the city branch has saved 228 hours of work per month and 75,000 sheets of paper consumables per year, while reasonably avoiding customer sensitivity in the paper printing process. Scenario 2: Bulk price negotiation maintenance

The Shanghai Branch Operation Center needs to manually complete the processing of approximately 17,000 "batch negotiation maintenance" transactions in 150 batches of the entire bank every month.

In order to solve the pressure of manual business processing, Shanghai Branch innovatively launched the "Batch Negotiation Maintenance" RPA application. The robot automatically obtains branch application work orders, uploads system application documents, downloads system processing result files, and automatically returns batch negotiation maintenance results to the application branch. , to realize automated processing of batch negotiation maintenance transactions.

After enabling RPA, the operation center reduced the maintenance work from three employees to one, and the processing time was reduced to half an hour, which greatly released manpower. In 2021, the RPA processed a total of 1,772 batches of batch negotiation maintenance applications, totaling 201,400, saving a total of 198.7 hours of manual work.

Scenario 3: One-click database search

In order to meet the inspection requirements of different types of projects, outlets will develop multiple inspection plans. For comprehensive inventory inspection projects, the inspection of cash, documents, etc. in the trunk should be completed within the same day; for non-comprehensive inventory inspection items, the inspection should be completed within 3 days. Limited by the fact that the existing system cannot provide statistical tables for non-comprehensive inventory checking items, and the statistical tables for comprehensive inventory checking items that can be provided do not display tail box information that does not match the warehouse checking results, resulting in the need for outlets to manually check and verify uncounted tail boxes one by one.
