I heard that 3306π is going to do something

Yes, 3306π Shenzhen station is about to be done soon

Ah, is it? What day, where and how to register?

Guests introduce themselves

Du Rong,   Deputy Manager of Business Operations, Deputy Manager of  Information Technology Department of Everbright Bank, Master of Computer Science from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, former Senior DBA of NetEase, currently responsible for the operation and maintenance management and development of distributed database and open source database of Everbright Bank.

01

Teacher Du has extensive DB experience in many industries. Can you share your advanced journey?

I am a typical Aries, full of curiosity about things, and have been trying to explore what I like to do. After graduating from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 15 years, I joined NetEase Beijing R&D Center. I worked in NetEase for nearly four years in DBA operation and maintenance and RDS automation platform development. After that, I worked as a technical community in Jushan Database for a period of time. Because of my interest in financial technology development, Then joined Everbright Bank, engaged in the development of distributed database management in the direction of financial technology, catching up with the spring breeze of domestic distributed databases, and participating in this technology boom together. I am very happy at work and full of confidence in the future. Everyone encourages!

02

Many people will be concerned about the development direction of DBA in the bank. Can Mr. Du briefly talk about your experience?

Good question, DBA plays an important role in both the Internet and the bank. The development direction is the same as that of the Internet. The technical expert route and the management route coexist, depending on ability and preference. Everbright Bank also attaches great importance to database team building, and is currently expanding the team. Welcome to join us. If you are interested, please contact me.

03

Often small partners will wonder what problem "distributed" mainly solves in the banking system?

There are three main points:

1) The processing capacity is limited, and the distributed database can solve the scalability problem.

2) Centralized deployment leads to concentrated risks, and distributed databases can solve global risks.

3) The two-location three-center architecture of the bank, the distributed solution can solve the problem of multiple activities.

04

How about the application of distributed databases in the financial industry?

There are currently three forms of distributed architecture in the banking industry:

1) The application layer is divided into database and table

2) Distributed proxy middleware

3) Introduce NewSQL database

Many banks are carrying out the transformation of distributed architecture. At present, I understand that there are ICBC, Bank of China, Postal Savings, Bank of Communications, CITIC, Minsheng, Bank of Nanjing, Bank of Beijing, Everbright Bank, etc.

05

What are the application scenarios of distributed databases in banks?

First of all, not all banking services are suitable for distributed databases. Generally, transactions with Internet portals are suitable for distributed architecture. In the current development plan of Everbright Database, 10% of the system is suitable for distributed database transformation. Bank data security first, try new technologies and adhere to the principle of "seek progress while maintaining stability". Most of the industry will first apply it in edge business systems and gradually transition to important systems. At present, some banks can be applied to core business systems, such as networked, online banking, mobile banking and other high-concurrency short-term transaction systems, as well as non-important systems with high pressure such as points, customer management, etc. The distributed database EverDB developed by Everbright Bank and Wanli Open Source is applied in the cloud payment business, and the TiDB introduced is applied to the Everbright financial management system. Both products are key business systems. We will continue to explore and practice distributed database applications in the future. , And work together with everyone. The detailed content will be introduced to you in detail at the Shenzhen site. Come sign up and participate in offline communication!
