【UE5】First introduction to MetaHuman and creating virtual characters

Enable the "Quixel Bridge" plug-in in the UE5 project

Open "Quixel Bridge"

Click "MetaHumans-》MetaHuman Presets UE5"

Click "START MHC"

Select an Unreal Engine version in the pop-up webpage and click "Launch MetaHuman Creator"

After waiting for a while, click to select a character template on the following page

Click "Create Selected"

Adjust options for face, hair, body, and more

After editing, find the character we edited in "My MetaHumans UE5"

Click "DownLoad", it will take a while to download

Download completed:

Click "Add"

It prompts that the plug-in is missing, click to enable the missing plug-in.

At this point we found that the resources we need have been created in the project browser

Drag resources into the scene, as follows
