installation steps
Log in to esxi and upload the basic image
Wait for the image to upload successfully before continuing.
Create/register virtual machine
Click on the virtual machine to create/register the virtual machine.
Create a new virtual machine - - Next page
Configure the name, the operating system series is linux, and the operating system version is centos 7 - On the next page,
select the available capacity for storage that is greater than the capacity you need - -Next page
Customize configuration CPU, memory (note the unit), hard disk, network, CD/DVD drive, select the data storage ISO file, click Browse, select the uploaded centos image--Next page Click Finish on the next

Initialize centos configuration
The white background color is the item you choose. You can switch it with the up and down keys. Select the install Centos 7
language selection. The default is enough. Click Continue to continue.
Configure the time zone and partition. Select DATE & TIME for the time zone (not required); select INSTALLATION DESTINATION for the partition (required).
Select the China map with the mouse. You can see that the time zone has changed to Asia Shanghai. Click Done in the upper left corner.
For partitioning, select INSTALLATION DESTINATION under SYSTEM.
You can enter without configuring it. Click Done directly, which is automatic partitioning.
If manual partitioning is required, select I will configure partitioning. Click Done in the upper left corner
to select the partition as an LVM partition
. Click the plus sign to add swap with a size of 2. GB, then add /boot, the size is 2 GB, then add / to allocate the remaining disk space. Click
Done in the upper left corner, wait for the SUMMARY OF CHANGES interface to pop up, click Accept Changes
and click to start the installation

and restart after installation.
