We will work as a team to complete a practical exercise process from idea to solution design. It’s fun, but it also exposes real problems in our work. Therefore, I feel that the harvest is particularly great.
2. From my experience, review is very important. It is a tempering process. Review can help us deeply understand the knowledge learned in the course. and trigger new thinking. UCPM is a very comprehensive knowledge system, which not only includes systematic product development processes, tools and methods, but also includes product psychology, product leadership, lean entrepreneurship, agile, team guidance, user experience, behavioral design, business models, etc. content. For me, this is also a process of knowledge reconstruction. Many of the new methods introduced in the course address the shortcomings of traditional enterprise product development. Many of them are confusions I encounter in my daily work, and even mistakes I have made. In the past, I often used some old concepts to understand new methods and said: Isn't this just so-and-so. But sometimes this is actually a misinterpretation. Therefore, when reviewing, you must first have an empty cup mentality, especially think and understand these methods from a systematic perspective. Only in this way can you truly master these new methods. It is actually a process of sublation.
3. After the training, you can apply to take the exam. There are two exams, one is all multiple choice questions, with a total of 60 questions, and you can pass with a correct rate of more than 75%. The exam uses an online exam mode. In my experience, the exam covers a wide range of knowledge points. Therefore, you need to review all the content in the textbook comprehensively and carefully, especially familiar with various professional terms. In addition, training institutions generally provide simulation questions and special exam review materials. This will also help in passing the exam.
4. Unlike other exams, UCPM is an assessment exam that includes an interview. In addition to multiple-choice questions, candidates must complete a comprehensive assessment. Half of the grade is an interview, and the other half is completing a designated product document. The interviews actually took place while we were completing course exercises. It's really special, but not harsh. The lesson here is don't try to play a role. You're not playing Steve Jobs in the movie. Instead, just express yourself naturally. But it should be noted that you need to apply what you have learned, such as team facilitation skills and analytical decision-making methods, to these exercises, which will allow you to pass the interview smoothly.
