Cloud Kernel SIG monthly updates: ANCK supports domestic instruction set architecture and processors, and enables kABI mechanism

Cloud Kernel SIG (Special Interest Group): supports the development, release and service of the Dragon Lizard kernel version, and provides cost-effective kernel products that are available for production.

01 SIG overall progress

ANCK 5.10 completes support for the domestic Shenwei architecture.
ANCK 5.10 and ANCK 4.19 support Haiguang 4 CPU, and ANCK 5.10 further supports the new features of CSV2.
Complete the ANCK 5.10 and ANCK 4.19 driver version baselines.
The ANCK 5.10 development branch enables the kABI mechanism.
Released ANCK 5.10-015.1 minor version.

02 Specific progress

Dragon Lizard Community supports the construction of domestic Shenwei architecture

The kernel side of the Dragon Lizard Community has completed adapting to the domestic Shenwei (sw_64) architecture, and the relevant code has been integrated into the ANCK 5.10 kernel.
A complete OS image supporting the sw_64 architecture will be launched in the future.

The Dragon Lizard community supports the construction of new features of Haiguang’s new platform

Both ANCK 5.10 and 4.19 have completed basic support for Haiguang 4 CPU and are planned to be released in the next version.
ANCK 5.10 has completed support for the new features of CSV2 and will be released in the next version.
On the software side, we plan to continue to promote support for CSV3 and new national secret features, and on the hardware side, we plan to promote CPP support.

Dragon Lizard Community upstream driver baseline and kABI construction

The driver version baseline has been completed, and it is planned to gradually submit the baseline driver to the Dragon Lizard community.
Enables the ANCK 5.10 kABI mechanism and will ensure binary compatibility for interfaces on the kABI whitelist in the future.
In terms of hardware drivers, the self-developed domestic sssraid driver of Shenzhen Yunxin Zhilian was introduced.
Cloud Kernel has added a new sssraid driver maintainer, Song Yanling, who will be responsible for the adaptation and maintenance of sssraid.
