This event was jointly organized by Microsoft and NVIDIA, attracting the participation of many developers and companies in various fields, as well as senior instructors giving wonderful sharings. The activities were rich in content and brought rich gains to the participants.

This article is a sharing of feelings and thoughts about participating in this event. I am very honored to participate in this offline salon event and will share my personal gains and thoughts next.

In this salon speech, many teachers pointed out that the success of the promotion and application of a technology depends not only on the advancement of the technology itself, but also on whether the technology can meet the needs of society.

At the same time, when studying the development rules of artificial intelligence technology, we found that artificial intelligence must be combined with production tools to be scientifically applied in society. Stand-alone, personalized artificial intelligence technology is usually only used for scientific research in laboratories.

Therefore, promoting the development of artificial intelligence technology mainly comes from the power of meeting social needs and improving production tools. This view reflects the pursuit of real needs by users of production tools and the common goal of social development.

With the development of human society, the needs for production efficiency, living environment, lifestyle, etc. are constantly changing. Artificial intelligence technology has gradually improved and matured to better meet the needs of social development, and is constantly being promoted and applied. From this perspective, the real users of artificial intelligence technology are fundamental to the value of this technology in society. At each historical stage, technical requirements are proposed, and it is ultimately up to technology developers to turn these requirements into reality.

This hands-on practice is to use large models to build application solutions on NVIDIA Jetson. The following are the key steps of practice:

Considering that Jetson device resources are limited, this step requires optimizing and compressing the selected large model to adapt to the device's hardware conditions and ensure efficient operation.

Step 4: Carry out model training and tuning

Participants will learn how to use annotated data to train large models, and perform model tuning and improvement to ensure that the model's performance reaches the optimal level in specific application scenarios.

Through this practical workshop, participants will participate in the entire process of building application solutions based on large models, gain an in-depth understanding of the advantages and application methods of large models, and master relevant development technologies and methods. Although this workshop is limited in time, participants are required to have certain knowledge of the Python programming language and bring their own computers and other equipment. However, with the personal guidance and help of the two instructors, all participants successfully experienced the application of large models and successfully generated their own AIGC pictures.
