Notes before installation
1. Prepare an 8G or above U disk (within 32G).
2. Back up personal data before installing the system (the U disk will be formatted when making a U disk, and the important files in the U disk should also be backed up in advance).
3. Those who pre-installed office must remember to activate the office account and password to avoid forgetting the account and password after reinstalling.
4. Because the installed win11 is a pure version of the system, you need to connect to the Internet and click on the automatic update of the system to automatically update all the drivers required by the system or download and install the drivers from the corresponding driver official website.
5. If the network card cannot be driven by itself, please go to the official website to download the corresponding network card and copy it for installation.
6. Because the tutorial only talks about creating a new system disk, please go to Disk Management to create a new partition after the system is installed.
7. It is recommended to install the same version as the factory system first. For example, if the Chinese version of win11 home is pre-installed, please install the home version. Generally, it will be automatically activated online. If you install other versions, please contact Microsoft to purchase the corresponding activation key.
Steps:
1. Open the Microsoft website to download WIN11: (If the website cannot be opened, you can download, decompress and run the tool in the attachment)
1. Find "Create Windows 11 Installation Media", click to download now
2. After the download is complete, double-click to run the MediaCreationToolW11 program, check the license terms, and click to accept
3. Choose to make a U disk, click Next,
4. Insert the prepared U disk, if it is not displayed, click to refresh the drive list, click Next
Note that making a mirror image will format the data in the U disk, please use an empty U disk to create or back up the data in the U disk
5. Wait for the download to be completed, it may take 10-20 minutes depending on the network conditions
6. Click Finish to start the U disk creation is complete
2. System installation
Note: Before installation, you need to back up the data in the hard disk to other storage media in advance to avoid data loss
1. After making the U disk, connect the U disk to the machine that needs to install the system. Lenovo desktop or all-in-one can press the F12 key to bring up the boot menu (when installing the desktop, please disconnect the network cable first to prevent the installation process from China Network freezes), turn on the notebook and press F12 or Fn+F12 to bring up the boot menu. You can also press the "one-key recovery button" or poke the "one-key recovery hole" when the notebook is turned off. The one-button recovery button or small hole is mostly located "next to the power button" or "left and right sides of the computer and next to the cooling holes at the bottom of the host.
2. After the menu options appear, select "Boot Menu" to start the menu and press Enter, select the USB item and press Enter to start the system installation.
3. The process of installing the system (you can skip the step of entering the key, and choose WIN11 Home Edition for the system version to install. If the machine is pre-installed with WIN11 Home Chinese Edition, it will be automatically activated on the Internet. To install a non-pre-installed system version, please contact Microsoft to purchase an activation key. ):
Note: Deleting a partition will result in the deletion of all data. If there is important data, it needs to be backed up before operation.
Three, OOBE unpacking process
1. The default region is China
2. Select and add input method
3. Windows 11 Home Edition requires that you must be connected to the Internet to proceed to the next step. Professional Edition and above support skipping the Internet and log in with a local account
4. After connecting to the network, check for updates

6. Enter the PIN password, (if the host supports biometric devices, you can also continue to enter fingerprints or faces after entering the PIN)
7. Select the sync device, if you don’t want to sync, choose to set it as a new device

11. After the update is complete, enter the system desktop
