1. The national finals: peak duel, unprecedented in scale

The National College Student Information Security Competition has been held for 15 consecutive years. It is the highest level, most extensive and most influential network security competition in my country. It belongs to the category A discipline competition of the Ministry of Education. The purpose of the competition is to improve college students' ability to practice cyber innovation with both offense and defense, improve college students' cyberspace security innovation capabilities and practical skills, further promote the cultivation of high-end cyber security talents, and provide high-quality talent guarantee for the construction of a national cyber security strategy.

This event attracted nearly 500 colleges and universities across the country, more than 2,000 teams, and more than 8,000 people signed up for the competition. The scale is unprecedented and a record high. After online preliminary competitions and divisional competitions, the first prizes in 8 national divisional competitions were finally selected, including Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, National University of Defense Technology, Zhejiang University, and more than 60 well-known universities across the country, with a total of 80 elite teams Qualified for the National Finals.

2. Innovative competition system: an offensive and defensive competition with a semi-open proposition

This year's National Finals adopts an innovative mode of offensive and defensive competition with semi-open propositions, which consists of two links: Build (innovative security application development) and Break&Fix (comprehensive confrontation of attack and defense). Saining Network Security provides the competition with a full-process competition system solution, technical platform construction, and competition operation and maintenance services. Among them, the Build session is an online competition, which revolves around the development of innovative applications for cyberspace surveying and mapping. The Break&Fix session is a mixed competition system of CTF Problem Solving Competition + AWD Network Attack and Defense Competition + Comprehensive Penetration Competition. It comprehensively examines the contestants' comprehensive security technical ability and teamwork ability to solve actual network security problems from multiple aspects.

· CTF Problem Solving Competition: The competition covers trusted computing, industrial control security, quantum security, artificial intelligence security and other directions. Participating teams solve network security technical challenges and obtain the preset Flag value of the topic by interacting with the online environment or analyzing files offline to obtain corresponding points.

· AWD Network Attack and Defense Competition: The classic attack and defense modes are adopted, and the types of topics cover WEB and PWN, focusing on the abilities of the participating teams in vulnerability mining, vulnerability utilization, vulnerability repair, traffic analysis, and teamwork.

Comprehensive Penetration Competition: In-depth simulation of the real network environment, the participating teams simulate attackers, and finally complete the penetration process of the simulated environment through various methods such as information collection, topology mapping, external network penetration, asset data discovery, and intranet lateral movement.

In particular, during the competition, the questions of the CTF Problem-solving Competition and the AWD Network Attack and Defense Competition will be released in stages, and the questions of the Comprehensive Penetration Competition will be released at one time.

3. Awards for the finals: gathering of elites, sprinting to the top

1. National First Prize: Teams ranked 1-22 in the finals;
2. National Second Prize: Teams ranked 23-46 in the finals;
3. National Third Prize: Teams ranked No. 1 in the finals Teams with 47 or more;
4. Network security challenge innovation individual award: The organizing committee will select 10-20 teams according to the competition situation of each sub-event.
