(3) Formal topics

Topic 1: Wang Yunlong presented the TBase project

The TBase project is an open source distributed domestic database system based on PostqreSQL independently developed by Tencent Cloud. It has industry-leading HTAP capabilities, high availability, high scalability, and high performance, and supports distributed transactions. The project is compatible with the SQL2011 standard and supports massive data mixed load processing. The project aims to realize technical value, commercial value and ecological value through elastically scalable distributed architecture and cloud database. Currently, the TBase project has 1.2 million lines of code on GitHub. The official website of the project is under construction and donations will be made based on version 2.5.

In the future, the project will focus on the insurance industry and gradually build a commercial database syntax compatibility alliance. Through the power of open source, it will lay the foundation for commercial database syntax compatibility, set up an open source banner for domestic databases and Oracle compatibility, and give back to China's database technology ecology.

Topic 2: Ji Weiming stated the OpenV2X open source project

The OpenV2X vehicle-road collaboration open source project aims to build a vehicle-road collaboration architecture and platform based on the V2X standard interface in an open source manner in the future 5G/6G network, and combine 5G, MEC, AI and other technologies. In a combined way, build an open source and open platform that integrates massive road test information collection, intelligent integration, ecological compatibility, and excellent performance infrastructure, thereby forming the roadside open infrastructure (Roadside Open Infrastructure, RSOI) of the future 5G/6G network de facto standard. The main customer groups of the project are the builders and operators of the vehicle-road collaborative roadside facilities.

At present, the OpenV2X open source project has released three versions of Albany (July 2022), Beihai (November 2022) and Columbia (June 2023), with a total code volume of 525,868 lines (Columbia version). and seven typical V2X application scenarios defined by Day Il.

A total of 12 personnel from Kyushu Cloud, China Telecom Digital City and China Unicom Smart Network have invested in the project. In the next two years, it is planned to increase the number of personnel by 10%-15% every year, and at the same time rely on the strength of community developers to ensure the number of active developers.
