KCC, the full name of KAIYUANSHE City Community (Chinese: Kaiyuanshe City Community) is a regional open source organization initiated by Kaiyuanshe, aiming to let the open source community take root in every city. Since its launch in February 2023, we have successively established KCC organizations in Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Silicon Valley, Chengdu, Singapore, Dalian and other overseas and domestic cities. Now, Hangzhou, an emerging and developed city in the Internet industry, is also welcoming Established KCC.
In Hangzhou, in addition to the beautiful scenery of West Lake and the upcoming Asian Games, the ecology of open source organizations has been continuously nurturing and developing. According to the statistics of the Open Source Society-China Open Source Map-official website, there are 20 registered open source project organizations in Hangzhou, ranking among Chinese cities Second (the first is Beijing, the third is Shanghai), there are many well-known Internet listed companies and unicorn companies in Hangzhou, many of which are excellent companies that strongly support the construction of China's open source projects, and some companies have also cooperated with Kaiyuan Society for many years Forge a partnership.
In addition to community organizations and well-known enterprises continuing to contribute to open source, the Hangzhou Municipal Government has also continued to increase its support for open source. On October 25, 2022, the General Office of the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government issued a notice on printing and distributing "Several Policies for Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Software and Information Technology Service Industry in Hangzhou", which mainly mentioned:

We can see that Hangzhou has gathered community strength, industry strength, capital strength, and government strength in open source. Under this background, Open Source Society chose to take root in Hangzhou, and formally established KCC@Hangzhou Station to serve the city of Hangzhou. The city's open source people provide an ideal gathering place. Of course, the promoters of KCC Hangzhou also have more ideas to share with you, and we also look forward to a thought collision with open source people from all walks of life in Hangzhou.
