1. KPT review method

In the middle of July, I have been doing things related to review, such as the company’s OKR review and mid-year strategic planning. However, many daily life and work matters do not need to think so long-term. We can choose some lightweight review methods, such as KPT review method:

Keep: Which ones need to be kept in the future?

Problem: What problems did you encounter?

Test: Do you have any ideas for follow-up testing and trying to improve?

The most valuable content here is the problems and solutions you encounter at work. After you record these contents, reflect and summarize them regularly.

Gradually, you will form your own characteristics, and it can further evolve into a methodology in your work. When you have the same problem as others, you can solve it in a shorter time.

The problem that the KPT model wants to solve is "how to do better next time?" The core of the content is "flow" , and the key action is "try" .

For example, in the review after the end of the project, first, it often only talks about the problem, which will cause the good points in the current project to not be refined and continued, and these good measures may depend on the individual and have not been consolidated into the team operation;

The second is when discussing solutions to problems, one hopes for a complete revolution, wishing to overthrow and rebuild the structure and process, but either the movement is too big to make up his mind to implement, or the solution is not well thought out, and the big move introduces new problems. 2. 3R review method

The 3R review method is suitable for schedule review, especially daily quick review.

Refine refinement [react reaction]: Extract methods from practice, form methodology, and formulate unified standards.

It has a general routine called "Review Triangle", which includes three steps: record, reflect, and refine. This method is relatively simple and effective.

3. KISS review method

KISS review method is a scientific project review method, which can transform past experience into practical ability to promote better development of the next activity, so as to continuously improve the ability of individuals and teams, continuously match job requirements and achieve goals.

In the quality management activities, it is required to make plans, implement the plans, check the implementation effect, and then include the successful ones into the standard, and leave the unsuccessful ones to be solved in the next cycle.

This working method is the basic method of quality management and a general model in management.

It can be used as a review tool, as a project management method, and as a model to determine the iterative optimization of product requirements...as long as you can use it, it is omnipotent.

1. The P (plan) plan includes the determination of guidelines and goals, and the formulation of activity planning.

2. D (Do) Execution Based on the known information, design specific methods, plans and plan layouts; then carry out specific operations according to the design and layout to realize the contents of the plan.

3. C (Check) Check and summarize the results of the execution plan, distinguish what is right and what is wrong, clarify the effect, and find out the problem.

4. A (Action) processing The results of the summary inspection are processed, the successful experience is affirmed and standardized; the lessons of the failure should also be summarized and paid attention to. Unresolved issues should be submitted to the next PDCA cycle for resolution.

5. GARI review method

The GRAI review method is a review method that focuses on the target, focuses on the deviation between the result and the target, analyzes the reasons and summarizes the rules.

Specifically, it can be expanded in this order:

G (Goal) Review the goal: what was the original purpose or expectation;

R (Result) Evaluation results: compared with the original goal, what are the bright spots and shortcomings;

A (Analysis) analysis: the root cause of the success and failure of things, including both subjective and objective aspects;
