VirtualBox 7.0.10 released, initial support for Linux 6.4/6.5 kernel

VirtualBox 7.0.10 has been released, 3 months after the last update.

The new release adds preliminary support for the Linux 6.4 kernel series for guests and hosts, preliminary support for the upcoming Linux 6.5 kernel series for hosts only, preliminary support for Indirect Branch Tracking for hosts, and preliminary support for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.3 kernels for both guests and hosts.

Also for Linux Guest Additions, the VirtualBox 7.0.10 release introduces improvements in the installer area, fixes an issue where reloading  vboxvideo modules caused kernel panics in some guest machines, and fixes an issue where kernel modules were being rebuilt during each boot when the guest did not have X11 installed.

Other notable changes include initial support for OpenGL 4.1 in VirtualBox 7.0.10, improved support for virtual machines with TPM 1.2, introduction of general OCI and GUI improvements, improved support for macOS 13.3 Ventura, and improved support for Windows 11 guests.
