Vmware virtual machine win7 does not recognize usb3.0/3.1 solution

Symptom: In the Win7 system installed by VMware, the virtual machine setting USB controller has been turned on, and the USB2.0 U disk can be recognized, but the USB3.0/3.1 U disk is not recognized (I use Kingston U3.1).

Try the solution:

1: Check whether the Vmware USB service of the local system is enabled, and restart the virtual machine for verification.

Whether the VMware USB service is started

2: Win7 virtual machine settings --> USB controller --> select USB3.1, restart verification. as shown in the picture

USB Compatibility Select 3.1

3: Install the Intel® USB 3.0 driver on the virtual machine ; select the inserted U disk for the removable device.

ps: If the driver is installed, an error will be reported: Unrecognizable.... Shut down the virtual machine, operate plan 2, and install the driver again after restarting.

The U disk has been recognized, and it can be displayed in the virtual machine after the connection is selected

The problem I encountered was solved by using solution 3, and it was successfully identified!

Successful recognition
