On the afternoon of June 2, the closing event of the Anhui University Student Starlight Film Festival and the University Student Actor Selection Competition (final) were successfully held in the multi-functional hall of the Student Activity Center of Anhui University (Qingyuan Campus).
The event was hosted by the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Propaganda Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Anhui Provincial Department of Education, the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Anhui Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Anhui Provincial Student Union, and was organized by Anhui Film Group and Anhui University. Zou Yongsheng, director of the School Department of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, Zhang Guodong, deputy director and third-level researcher; Gao Guihe, secretary of the Youth League Committee of Anhui University, and Wang Yongdong, deputy secretary; Zhang Lili, director and deputy general manager of Anhui Film Group, director of the film business department and national first-level director Jiang Chao attended the closing ceremony. At the closing ceremony, Zou Yongsheng, director of the School Department of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, delivered a speech. He expressed warm congratulations and sincere wishes to the award-winning works and award-winning students in this film festival. He pointed out that the purpose of the first College Student Starlight Film Festival is to guide college students to actively promote the main theme and spread positive energy through the creation and dissemination of literary and artistic masterpieces. He hopes that young students will have the courage to explore the society, actively pursue truth, goodness and beauty, and strive to convey the belief and spiritual power of young people through light and shadow art.
There are 154 themed micro-films in this film festival, and 184 college student actors participated in the selection. A total of ten best micro-movies, top ten music short films, top ten promotional films, top ten college student actors and 30 outstanding college student actors were selected. These outstanding young student actors will also all enter the talent pool of Anhui Film Group's "Star Project".
At the closing ceremony, while the list of winners was announced, related award-winning works were also displayed. The film works have their own characteristics, which are refreshing: there are patriotic themes such as soldiers defying hardships and going out for the country, as well as beautiful campuses and beautiful campuses. Dreams and other realistic themes, these works fully demonstrate the spirit of young students who are striving for success and actively pursuing truth, goodness and beauty under the leadership of the party.
