The Fifth CCPC China College Student Programming Contest ended, Tsinghua won the championship! Nanjing University and Zhejiang University won the second and third place

After two days of intense competition from November 16th to 17th, the 5th China College Student Programming Competition (CCPC2019) finals came to an end on 17th. Tsinghua University’s "Three Top Two" teams stood out from 119 participating teams across the country and won the championship with an absolute advantage in solving problems.

In 2019, a total of more than 7,000 undergraduate and junior college students from more than 470 colleges and universities participated in this year's China College Student Program Design Competition series. In the first half of this year, CCPC organized nearly 20 provincial and regional competitions, and a special match for girls. In the second half of this year, it organized an online trial, three national races and a final. The races were determined through the online trial. The quota for promotion will be determined by the three sub-stations.

In the end, 115 college teams advanced to the finals, plus the 4 star-winning teams from sponsoring companies, a total of 119 teams competed on the same stage at the finals and launched an impact towards the final championship. In the nearly 5 hours of high-intensity ultimate confrontation, each team needs to determine the winner through 12-question computer programming.

In the end, the "Three Top Two" team from Tsinghua University took 27:07:20 to solve a total of 10 questions, becoming the team that solved the most questions in this competition and won the championship of this competition. Followed by the Nanjing University-Coffee Chicken Team, which took 20:00:06 to solve 7 problems and won the runner-up in this competition. The "Runespoor" team from Zhejiang University took 16:31:34 to solve a total of 6 problems and achieved good results in the third place.

From Peking University's "Holy Friends" team, Fudan University's "Fengcheng University Affiliated Academy" team, Chongqing University's "Isn't this question just done" team, Tongji University's "Louis" team, Hangzhou Dianzi University's "five points total" team Five teams including the "round" team all answered five questions. The time spent determines the final ranking. The shortest time is the Peking University "Holy Friends" team, which takes a total of 11:34:02, and the longest time is the Hangzhou Dianzi University "Five Points Round" team 16:12 :41. It is worth mentioning that Hangzhou Dianzi University achieved the best results of non- "985" colleges and universities in this competition.

At the same time, 10 teams from Southeast University, Fudan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Hangzhou Dianzi University and other universities won the gold medal. 23 teams from Zhengzhou University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Fujian Normal University and other universities won silver awards. 33 teams from Changsha University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Nanjing University of Information Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University and other universities won the bronze award. In addition, in this college student programming competition, three teams from Shanghai Jiaotong University, "Stardust" team, Tsinghua University "Mom and Dad’s Beloved Child" team, and Zhejiang University’s "Blue Niwan" team won the women’s team. The first, second and third prizes.

The contest also awarded the fastest problem solving award. Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics-Cuckoo Pigeon Team won the A Question-Fastest Problem Solving Award. Tsinghua University’s "Three Top Two" team won the award for the fastest solution to seven BH questions. Fudan University-Little Frog won the I problem fastest solution award. The K question fastest solution award was won by the Fudan University-Fengcheng University affiliated school team.

Xiangtan University-Papaya Team won the Tenacious Fighting Award in the finals.
