Use CC01 to create an ECN engineering change number, check the material master data change and the corresponding BOM/process route, and obtain the corresponding ECN engineering change number. According to the ECN engineering change number, in CC11, according to the material number + ECM number, the system automatically determines the version according to the background configuration, so that the engineering change management is defined in the material of the defined version.

5. The impact of the effective date of the material version on its business data
When the change of the material version from one material version to another is completed, the effective start date of the ECM needs to be managed. Please note that when the revision of the material master is changed, this has no effect on the purchasing documents already created, these documents will still show the old revision level and need to be changed manually.
