2. Installation and environment construction in VMware

Here you can choose according to the options in the picture, and then in the next step,
you can set the name of the virtual machine, and the directory where the virtual machine is stored.
The maximum disk size here is 100G. You can fill in whether you have 100G or not. You will use it later
. Define the hardware
The printer here can be cleared, and then select the centOS8 processor core number you just downloaded for this ISO image file.
According to the number of cores in your computer, my computer has 8 cores, so I choose 8
to start the virtual machine.
What to do next The only thing to do is to wait for
this page to appear. Select Chinese
and set the date.
Software selection, check the storage method as shown in the figure,
select custom,
select standard partitions, and then create them.
Click + in the lower left corner to create system capacity. Create the type and capacity as shown in the figure and
click Accept. Change
the root password and click Finish
to start the installation. Wait for the installation to complete and
agree to the license agreement. Click Finish to
create the user. After creating the user , click Finish configuration . Here you can log in with the created user or with the root account. There is no difference between the two interfaces. root is an administrator account with the highest authority, which is convenient for configuration. Here I click not listed? Log in with the root account. The root account password is the root password you just set .
