Hello, friends, how are you~~ It’s another day to get new skills every day. Today, let’s sort out how to install the openEuler operating system on VMware Workstation. 0 basics, get on the bus while it’s hot~ ~GOGOGO.

OpenEuler official introduction: openEuler is an open source operating system. The current openEuler kernel is derived from Linux, supports Kunpeng and various other processors, and can fully release the potential of computing chips. It is an efficient, stable, and secure open source operating system built by global open source contributors, suitable for databases, big data, and cloud Computing, artificial intelligence and other application scenarios.
The openEuler version number counting rule is changed from openEuler xx to year and month as the version number, so that users can know the release date of the version. For example, openEuler 20.03 indicates that the release date is March 2020.

(2) Installation of openEuler

2.1 Click to create a new virtual machine, select Custom (additional virtual memory, processor, network type, etc.), select the next step to select the ESXi version for servers, and select the highest version for personal PCs (good compatibility)

2.2 Choose to install the operating system later, choose other Linux4.x or higher kernel 64-bit

insert image description here

2.3 Name the virtual machine and specify the storage path, the number of processors and the number of cores are 1:2

insert image description here

2.4 Choose 4G memory (according to your own situation, not the more the better), use NAT mode (the difference between the three network connection modes)

insert image description here

2.5 default next step

insert image description here

2.6 Choose to create a new virtual disk, at least 8G or more, here I give 60G, next step, click Finish.

insert image description here

2.7 Edit virtual machine settings, CD\DVD use ISO image file, click OK
