With the development of urban and rural areas, the power system has been continuously improved, the structure of the power distribution network has also become complex, and the laying of cables has also been greatly improved. The capacity of the distribution network system is increased, the current is increased, and lightning protection measures are usually not built in the construction of the power system, but in some places lower than the ground, the distribution system cannot withstand too high voltage, and the network The intricate changes of the system and the surrounding environment will lead to faults in the distribution network system. Generally speaking, one-way ground faults account for more than 80% of the faults in the entire distribution network. After a one-way ground fault occurs in the power distribution system, it will not cause power interruption. However, if the fault occurs for a long time, the insulation layer will be broken down during operation, resulting in two ground faults. It may even cause the voltage of the entire system to be too high, resulting in damage to the power supply equipment and affecting the normal operation of the power system. Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate the fault points of the system in time.
In the research of this system, the small current grounding of the power transmission system is mainly studied. Small current grounding is an ineffective grounding method, which can ensure the stability of the power system in use. There are two methods for small current grounding, the first is that the neutral point is not grounded, and the second is that the neutral point is grounded through the arc suppression coil. The use of the two methods needs to be selected according to the requirements of the system. In this paper, two kinds of small current grounding methods are studied in depth. Use the current popular simulation software MATLAB to build a system model, and calculate the operating parameter settings of the equipment, coils, and wiring methods used in the system. The operating parameters of the system are output through the simulation software, and the simulation results are displayed. The use significance of the two grounding methods is obtained. Finally, summarize the content and harvest of this research.
