Imagination and Telechips increase diversity in automotive displays through hardware virtualization

Dolphin3 automotive-grade advanced graphics and computing processors powered by Imagination GPU technology to be unveiled at Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany

The Telechips TCC805x (Dolphin3) processor family is based on the extensive market knowledge accumulated by Telechips during its ten-year leadership in the market, relying on Imagination's PowerVR Series9XTP graphics processor core to provide excellent 2D and 3D graphics performance. The Dolphin3 processor uses Series9XTP's HyperLane hardware virtualization technology to create a hypervisor cockpit (HLC) solution. The solution manages multi-display and multi-channel camera inputs and manipulates the image signal processing subsystem and built-in microcontroller system, helping to create a "safety island" for functional safety.
