Due to the translation engine of the Google browser, the translation function in mainland China is turned off, and a Mac solution is provided.
1. On the desktop, click Go - Go to Folder on the top menu bar.
2. Enter /etc in the pop-up Go to Folder dialog box, and click the Go button.
3. Find the hosts file and drag it to the desktop.
4. Right-click the hosts file on the desktop, click Open with - Text Edit.
5. Edit and modify the hosts file, adding # in front of the content is a comment, as shown in the figure below, the red box is the custom hosts content, press command + s to save after modification.
6. Drag the hosts file on the desktop back to /etc, click Authentication, click Replace, and then enter the power-on password, as shown in the figure below:
The content that needs to be added to the hosts file is as follows:
220.181.174.162 translate.googleapis.com (dead)
142.250.4.90 translate.googleapis.com ( latest )
Reminder:
142.250.4.90 is followed by a "space character";
142.250.4.90 is the IP address of the Google Translate interface.
Finally, be sure to save it.
