Advice for fresh graduates

Recently brought a few graduates, not very ideal. The main manifestation is not knowing how to study and work. I have summarized a few points here, and gave some suggestions for study and work, hoping to help everyone.

1. The information must be read.

The study of materials may be a headache for graduates. As for the information, I give suggestions, regardless of whether it is useful or not, first browse through it, and then focus on the key points to read carefully. If you don't know which are the key points, you need to consult your superiors. Because when doing technology development, data is theory, and only with the support of theory can we carry out practice. For example, a graduate I brought was learning to debug LCDs. I sent the information to him to read, but he was anxious to modify the code compilation without reading the information. I checked him temporarily and asked him from which information he might see the resolution of the LCD, but he couldn't answer. I only found out after asking, and I only read a little information. I asked him to read the materials before doing anything. Practice without theoretical guidance is fooling around!

2. Active and independent learning.

For graduates, we must be soberly aware that we are working now, and when we know nothing, the company is giving us money to let us learn. But this learning is very different from learning in school: in school, there are teachers and instructors who follow you every day and teach you lessons. In the workplace, it is impossible for someone to teach you lessons (big companies may have them). It is all about self-conscious and active learning. You must cherish this opportunity where others give you money and help you improve your abilities.

3. Ask high-quality questions.

In the process of learning, you will definitely encounter various problems. When we encounter problems, don't panic, don't be nervous. It's normal to have problems, and it's not normal to have no problems. For problems, we must first learn to think and explore by ourselves. To make full use of network resources, basically more than 90% of graduates' questions can be answered by searching. If you spend time and effort and still can't find the answer. At this time, ask questions to your superiors or seniors. We call this kind of question a high-quality question.

4. Be diligent in thinking.

For graduates who have just entered the workplace, there is a common problem: they are willing to work overtime and study, but their progress is very slow. I have done some thinking and analysis on this problem, and found that the cause of this problem is: hard work is only physical, but mentally lazy. The main manifestations are: being distracted at work and easily disturbed by the outside world. Although the time in the company is very long, the efficiency is extremely low. For this situation, others can't help you, you need to overcome your own ideological laziness. If you can't get over it, it could be a sign that the job might not be for you.

5. Write a good study and work summary.

It is very important for us to study, work, and write a summary. The summary generally includes: 1. What knowledge points have been learned; 2. What difficulties did you encounter during the learning process and how did you solve them; 3. What difficulties did you encounter in the actual operation and how did you solve them; what tricks. etc. It can be said that the quality of your summary can almost be used to judge the quality of your study and work. Of course, this refers to the content, and does not discuss the quality of the format. People who often do not pay attention to writing summaries, or who are perfunctory in writing summaries, basically mess up their study and work.

Finally, I hope that everyone can grow rapidly and get promoted and raise salary as soon as possible!
