Ubuntu-Server 22.04 installation detailed process - graphic version

1. Download the Ubuntu Server image, just download it from the official address

https://ubuntu.com/download/server Ubuntu mirror URL, click to download

2. To install the Ubuntu image, it is best to prepare the U disk by yourself and make it in the ISO software

1. Select Install Ubuntu Server

2. Select the installation language as English

3. Choose not to update the installer update, continue to the next step

4. Select the default keyboard layout and continue to the next step

5. Choose to install the server version, the server version has more configurations than the mini version, you can choose by yourself

6. For network configuration, use DHCP or static IP (it is recommended to set static IP, if you choose DHCP, you can directly select Done on this interface and press Enter).

Static IP setting method, click ens33 and then select ipv4

Click Manual to manually add the ip address

Fill in the ip address configuration according to your own network conditions, and finally click save to save and exit, and continue to the next step

7. The Proxy address on the Configure proxy configuration page does not need to be configured, just click Done

8. Set the mirror source address, this directly click Done next step

You can configure Aliyun ( http://mirrors.aliyun.com/ubuntu/) to download and accelerate and add it later

9. Disk configuration, select Done disk automatic allocation

If manual partitioning is required, select [custom storage layout]

Manual partition configuration, move the cursor down to select manual partition, select Done next step

Select a free partition to set

Partition the disk, the meaning of the following figure is to set the size of the root directory to 10G (you can configure it according to your own disk size)

Select the type as ext4 and finally click Create to add it
