Cloud-native DevOps generally refers to the use of cloud-native technologies to build the next-generation DevOps value chain platform, aiming to enhance continuous delivery capabilities and meet the needs of high-frequency software release under microservices and hybrid architectures. Compared with the traditional DevOps tool chain, engineers no longer spend time on the dirty work other than developing and writing code, such as service deployment, environment search, service orchestration and other infrastructure matters, but focus on software and business innovation.
Gartner's " Platforms tools to scale the delivery " report shows that software is an engine of innovation, and to deliver high-quality software, a DevOps value chain platform is one of the most important links in software design/development. Gartner also pointed out that by 2025, cloud-native technologies will be ubiquitous and become a prerequisite for enterprise digital strategies, and 95% of digital businesses will be deployed on cloud-native platforms (as of 2021, only 30%). Combining the two, DevOps in cloud-native mode has become the general trend.
