1. Restart into Safe Mode by setting "System Configuration"
This requires being able to enter the system, to be able to open the control panel, or the start screen, or to run a command. The following only introduces the method of entering the system configuration by running the command (the easiest and fastest):
Click the Windows Start + R key at the same time to pop up the run command box, enter "msconfig" in the box and press Enter (without double quotation marks), this means Microsoft (ms, Microsoft, that is, Microsoft's abbreviation) configuration (config).

2. How to Reboot into Safe Mode from the Metro Interface
This and the one above are actually changing the soup without changing the medicine. Here are the steps:
Select Settings on the charm toolbar that pops up when the mouse is moved to the lower right corner, and select Change Computer Settings in the lower right corner of the pop-up bar; select Restart now in Advanced Startup at the bottom of the general bar of the Computer Settings application; you can also press and hold While pressing the shift key, click the restart button to enter advanced startup.

3. Add a Windows 8 Safe Mode Startup Item
The idea of this method is to create a new boot project that is exactly the same as the current system, and set this project to only boot into a certain safe mode. The advantage of this is that you can press F8 at boot, select the operating system, and be able to enter safe mode when the system fails to boot. The following is an example of booting into a safe mode similar to the old system default safe mode:
1. Find the boot identifier of the current system
Right-click in the lower left corner and select "Command Prompt (Admin) (A)" from the pop-up menu. Enter "bcdedit /enum /v" (without double quotes) in the pop-up command line window, and press Enter. This means to view the boot information of the current system. The specific steps are as follows:
2. Create a new system boot project
Just enter (bcdedit /copy {①} /d "{②} (Safe Mode)") (without the parentheses) in the previous command line window. What this means is to add a boot item with the same boot ID as the system boot ID and name it "Windows 8(safe mode)" (without the quotes, and safe mode can be replaced with any text that can be typed into the command line window , but English words with fewer characters are recommended to avoid problems). 3. Set the new boot entry to only boot into Windows 8 Safe Mode.

If you need to boot to other safe modes, you can select other options in the secure boot. Here, it is best to check the setting of all boots as permanent settings, otherwise it will be restored after restarting. Set the timeout as you want, which is when the user chooses to start the project.
After the setting is successful, there will be an additional interface after the Windows logo and before the lock screen interface. On this interface, selecting Windows 8 (safe mode) will restart to safe mode. This interface supports touch screen. The interface is shown in the figure:
If you need to directly boot into Windows 8 safe mode, you need to press the F8 key after the BIOS interface and in front of the Windows logo. Of course, you can also press F8 to boot. The interface that appears is similar to the picture above, but the resolution seems to be only 800*600, and it should also support touch screen. Also, select Windows 8 to boot directly to Windows 8.
